Paris Ha, Ha, Hilton
We couldn't help ourselves over here. Paris Hilton has been released from prison and every red-blooded American has heard about it by now (except maybe your grandma). Paris has an 'Electronic Monitoring' anklet on. We were curious.....

This is the latest and greatest of EM (Electronic Monitoring). Called the "Traditional - FMD - Phase 2 Curfew or Restricted," the Anklet is riveted onto your ankle and broadcasts to the router. It uses Radio Frequency to monitor the anklet. Once that transmission is gone, the unit records the date and time... and in certain cases, will immediately alert an officer. In Paris' case, officers will likely not be notified, but she'll get in even deeper trouble. Lovely.

'Dude, she is just gonna pick that thing up, put it in her $3000 bag, and take it to Privilege." Nope. It has motion sensors in the router that monitor if it is picked up, moved around, falls off a table, or bumps into Lindsay Lohan at the club. And better yet, the ankle bracelet is sensitive enough to detect tampering. When the rivets come out, the router records that too.

Maybe her buddies will visit her at home. Maybe a pool party of sorts. Who knows how the anklet reacts to the water??? So Paris, if you do have that party.... just give us the heads up (blog@jpcconsulting.com), thanks.
